[UPDATE 2.8.22. The 'closed' signs have been removed.] [Image taken 31.7.22] Butcher Terrace (left), Terry Ave (ahead), Millennium Bridge (right), York. [NOTE: No street view at this location.] The 'cycle route closed' signs are still in situ - nearly 2.5 weeks after Terry Avenue was re-opened to non-motorised users. (Original image: #185035.) It even looks closed - due to that fencing (see also: #185185). The signs need to come down and a 'Route 65: Open. For NCN65 follow the river bank this side of the Ouse' board needs to go up. This is Route 65 (www.sustrans.org.uk/find-a-route-on-the-national-cycle-network/route-65, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Cycle_Route_65). It is the summer. It is school holidays. Most of the people with luggage showing they are bike packing or cycle touring are riding this route. Sending them along Bishy Road that is busy, narrow, polluted and not 'legible' is not a great experience for the cyclists and not a good advert for York.
