[UPDATE: 7.2.23 A campaigning colleague has just sent me this link to the Draft Local Transport Strategy he said was in a Facebook post: democracy.york.gov.uk/documents/s165399/Annex%20B.pdf] [Image taken 4.2.23] City of York Council, West Offices, Station Rise, York. On 14 February 2023, City of York Council will launch its draft Local Transport Strategy (www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/23295830.york-draft-transport-strategy-wont-mention-congestion-charges/). This is long overdue. The article incudes the statement: “total car use must fall” I noticed there were adverts under the article… for cars. Other image today and links: #190735.
