I then had a look at the road on Google Maps and did a frame-by-frame analysis of the clip. The minimum speed I found was 35mph, the probable more like 45mph. In a built up area. With houses and sideroads close to the road. And a hospital with vunerable people just at the beginning.
Maybe the attitude here is the same one that causes twice as many cyclists to die than soldiers in Iraq/Afghanistan.
