The mlssing bollard that has caused some excitement in the city's media recently has been replaced by a solid near-invisible (at night see #47069) concrete new bollard. I've contacted the cycling team at the county to request reflective markings or yellow paint (they've responded and are looking into it).

A motor vehicle was driven over the bridge while the bollard was missing and the driver reportedly claimed he had made a 'terrible mistake'.
