This is a follow up photo from www.cyclestreets.net/location/49576/ and cambridge.cyclestreets.net/location/49635/

The council have now dumped some asphalt near the pothole at issue. Sadly they still haven't hit the main problem.

This shows my tyre going into the space and it being gripped. Riding into this would likely throw the rider off their bike.

So, I'll report it again and link to this commentary.
