Park Street Cycle Park swept away 24 car parking spaces that were already covered by CCTV - but this was maintained to secure the cycle park.

These racks are located in St. George's Square, which is on Guildhall Street. They were installed as part of a Cycle Parking experiment in 2001. They are part of a row of cycle racks in which 16 cycle parking spaces replaced 12 wheelbender ... [more]

The bike on the left has a D-lock securing the frame of the bike to the cycle rack. The bike on the right has a red plastic covered chain only around the fork and so is not so securely parked.
