Lots of signs about the one-way closure of East Road due to a sinkhole - totally ignoring the fact that the cycleway is open as usual. Sadly predictable.

The cycleway inside the new wands now has a red surface - but I'd still worry about cars suddenly cutting across from the right to reach the car park.
That was quite some impact. Oddly, the cargo bike is carrying boxes of flowers and also loading up with e-scooters.
The off-road cycleway has become a contraflow lane to give access to the cycle parking at the Anglia Ruskin University buildings here.
The new protected cycle lane comes to an abrupt end before the roundabout and cyclists who don't want to use the circuitous and unpleasant underpass have to wait for a gap in the motor traffic and pull out to the right - why can they not go … [more]
East Road cycleway, suggests that the footway should be used from here. Also the footway cycleway appears to be marked as one way.

Newly segregated stretch of cycle lane - with a car the driver of which reversed into the clearly closed lay-by and went into Mackays.
The lay-by has been closed as part of the newly segregated stretch of cycle lane - but the car indicating left is about to reverse into it.
This looks dangerous to me - cars for the Grafton Centre car park cutting across the newly segregated stretch of cycle lane.
Cycle parking and the start of a newly segregated stretch of cycle lane (also visible on the far side of the road).

Dreadful stretch of cycle lane - but as long as there are plans to remodel this part of East Road I don't suppose it'll be fixed.
Surely some of the worst illegal parking ever seen in Cambridge. And less than 100m from the police station. No thought for pedestrians or wheelchair users whatsoever. When will the police take this widespread problem around Cambridge … [more]

Bus waiting to drive round a PCL lorry delivering to Tesco East Road blocking most of one side of the road.
Deliveries to Tesco from a lorry with the 'PCL' logo on the side. The delivery is perfectly legal, but the Council should disallow unloading in this location and require Tesco and other shops to unload from the delivery bay at the back.
