In the Maypole pub after a Camcycle monthly meeting. It's looking like the last time we're in a pub like this for quite a while because of the Covid-19 coronavirus emergency.

It was a bit weird to see a pair of bolt cutters D-locked with a bike outside the Maypole.

Cycle parking at Cambridge's newest pub, the Queen Edith - will it be enough?

The Burleigh Arms, newly refurbished and very nice - but the space at the rear is dominated by cars. My bike is locked to a plastic drainpipe which didn't feel very secure. What a contrast with the Milton Brewery pubs eg #48936.

New cycle parking outside the Earl of Beaconsfield pub in Great Eastern Street.

These racks were installed last week, tonight they are full to overflowing! (It is the evening of Outspoken Cycles' xmas bash.) Here is a before shot of the same location (from a different angle): #47783.

The Chisholm Trail and increased permeability towards the Science Park Station and the Business Park could make this Penny Ferry and Pike&Eel a much better location for a pub and or restaurant. Protest attended by people from Old Chesterton ... [more]
