Turning on the green filter light from Tenison Road to Devonshire Road.

I've more or less given up reporting potholes in Cambridge, but this one is bad, with loose stones being thrown around. In addition, if a driver knocked someone down on the zebra crossing they'd get away with it, as any competent lawyer wou ... [more]

The old cycle by-pass to the no entry is gone, but where are the Except Cycles plates? There's also quite a bit of unused footway space here that could accommodate street cycle parking.

Is this a two way street? There are No Entry signs at the far end (see #96839).

Railings are better than nothing - but such unofficial cycle parking is not welcoming and can cause problems for footway users.

There's a definite need for cycle parking on Tenison Road but none was provided in the recent half a million pound scheme.

Traffic-calming (I suppose) on the approach to Mill Road

A build-out which just encourages taxi-drivers to squeeze cyclists.

A very modest build-out and a very gentle speed cushion. I expected more from the six-month closure of Tenison Road.

The only vaguely interesting result of the six-month closure of Tenison Road. No idea what it's for, it certainly doesn't slow taxis down.

Just in case you imagined that Tenison Road really had been fully reopened last week.

Tenison Road is closed for traffic-calming works - predictably, the signs are aimed exclusively at drivers and make no allowance for cyclists having access to most of it most of the time.

Instead of removing the cycle lane and widening the footway, to use cyclists as traffic-calming for the constant flow of taxis, would it be possible to put in a short stretch of hybrid cycle lane, for cyclists from the Carter Bridge towards ... [more]
