When I think that a bike left for weeks at these racks has been abandoned then I turn it upside down. This was a Raleigh Chiltern, worth around £70: http://findthatbike.co.uk/search.php?searching=yes&s=chiltern

The stands at the front of the building are finally in use, but not these ones on the side.

Cambridge Water are doing some work here and this notice is an instruction not to park bikes in this area. However, there's no indication how long this is going to go on for. ETA: Whatever they were doing, it's finished now.

It was a bit weird to see a pair of bolt cutters D-locked with a bike outside the Maypole.

These temporary stands at Robinson College's new Crausaz Wordsworth Building are to be removed now that the permament parking is in place.

It seems that many cyclists haven't found the new CyclePoint bike parking.

In case you can’t zoom in to read the times here's what it says. Cycle parking suspended from 20:00 hrs 3rd Jan - 17:00 hrs 6 Jan (2016) on Sidney Street for rack maintenance. I'm hoping that means the broken ones get fixed.

So near but yet so far - new cycle park under construction, without a link to the station bridge.

During renovation of the New Museums site these four pronged toast-racks are used to substitute for temporary loss of cycle parking elsewhere on site.
