As the blurb goes, I think this driver parked their van on the cyclepath for several days without any challenge. The FTA says even unloading shouldn't be done here, let alone parking up. http://www.fta.co.uk/export/sites/fta/_galleries/ ... [more]

It's hardly surprising that people think it's okay to stop up in a cyclelane when the police do it. They do have some leeway, but clearly not in this case.

Rather than back into Tenison Road, a minor local street, Tesco takes the lazy option of unloading from Hills Road cycle lanes, which have very high cycle flows.

Yet another example that the builders really don't care at all about illegally blocking the route for local people. And that the council and police are complicit in not making sure they don't obstruct.
