Tesco lorry routinely parks here on the pavement, over a zig-zag line, over yellow lines and a cycle lane. Yet there is a car park at the back.
It’s never possible to park legally on one side of Kingston Street - vehicles block either the pavement or the road - so these should be double yellow lines.
What sort of thoughtless person parks like this? How is someone in a wheelchair supposed to get past this?
@IanGManning @camcycle Any idea how we can deal with this blatant illegal parking? It's not isolated, it's parked up here a lot. https://t.co/WZRZZ9MRu6
What kind of selfish morons think this is an acceptable place to park a car? This keeps happening, and the police seem uninterested - even though this is about 100m from the police station.
Persistent pavement parking problem here. More problematic now due to the need for social distancing - this pavement tends to get a fair amount of footfall as it is a key route from Petersfield to Riverside. [Photographer unknown]
Tesco breaking 4 laws at once - unloading from the cycle lane, having driven on the pavement, the lorry parked on the pavement and on zig-zag lines.

The usual sad state of affairs in the contraflow cycle lane in Mawson Road. No enforcement officers to be seen anywhere near.
Downing Place - lorries delivering on the pavement at the Regal. No wonder the pavement and road are so cracked here and subject to much resurfacing over the years.
Surely some of the worst illegal parking ever seen in Cambridge. And less than 100m from the police station. No thought for pedestrians or wheelchair users whatsoever. When will the police take this widespread problem around Cambridge serio ... [more]
